Universal Care Services was established in 2003 as a specialist interpreting company to the healthcare sector. Since incorporation we have regularly been commissioned to provide interpreting and translation services to various NHS trusts, local authorites and private companies across the Midlands.
Our registered care manager identified there was a gap in the market for the provision of care for BME communities in Birmingham and consequently we registered with the Care Quality Commission in 2005. In the same year we were approached by Warwickshire County Council to provide home support services within the Nuneaton area.
We initially started as a modest company but as our reputation has grown we now provide services across the Coventry and Warwickshire areas to local authorities, NHS Trusts and private individuals.
We supply our services to all communities and have the added benefit of being able to work with our interpreting services to provide language support in over 100 community languages either over the phone or face-to-face. All our documentation can be translated into over 100 different languages so service users are not disadvantaged by a language barrier.
